Nope no snow attire needed..

Fletcher is just outside Asheville on route 26, right now the weather is usually in the low to mid 80's, mid 60's in the evening, perfect for any outdoor activity's, including motorcycle riding over to the Dragon's Tail about an 1.5 away...

Good Luck!

I bought a Ruger BX-25 magazine for my 10/22 and tried it out on some property my family owns out in the country. I also have a Butler Creek 25-round mag that never has fed correctly, but the Ruger one performed flawlessly through 5 full clips.

If it ain't broke, don't fix it (especially if you don't know what you're doing). Most Sportster problems are owner-induced.

Hopefully by Thursday morning if it EVER STOPS RAINING here on the coast of NC I can get out and shoot the AR's at the local range...

Put about 150 rounds through my Kimber and 100 through my M&P 9mm. Made some holey zombie targets.

Hopefully when I get back from my next stint at Bath Iron Works, the last couple parts for my AR arrive. Then I can finally bolt together the upper and put some range time on her.

Took some of the CCW pistols to the range for a little practice.
Kahr CM9, Sig 290, Ruger LCR. On the way home from the range
it started pouring. Was glad I was in my pick-up cause the water
was starting to get deep. It has rained almost every day here since
the beginning of June.

shot about 100 rounds thru my .357 Henry lever action, and about 50 thru a friends 40mm and 9mm Glock. I preferred the 9mm...awesome day at the range.

I'm headed out to the range in the morning..I've got the itch to knock down a couple hundred AR rounds..

Been looking at the new Springfield XDs .45 ACP compact, I've been reading some FTF issue's with new pistol over at the XD forum, granted this is a brand new pistol from SA, seems some of the new ones are having issues with FTF and the new owners are sending them back to the factory to get the issue resolved?? Anybody else hearing about these complaints?? Hate to buy then have to send it back??

My second option is a full size 1911 Springfield Operator or TRP in .45acp to add to my 1911 collection??

Spent last weekend as a range/lane office for a learn to shoot day at our local range. It was a good time and plenty of toys to play with.

Everyone should have a 5" 1911, go for it! I had one of the MC Operators when they first came out (the only diff was the frame end was cut flat, not angled). I changed out the flgr (hate it, doesn't serve any purpose outside of making the gun harder to clear & field strip) & put on a different mainspring housing with a lanyard loop. Great gun, never jammed, functioned beautifully, sold it to one of my partners when I left the business, he still uses it every day.

Tough decision, I'm always happy to help others spend their money.

Ride safe.
