Default XR? Engine

The other day I saw a clean but dusty complete XR engine in the front sales room of Bud's Motorcycles in Austin Texas. Don't know anything about it or even if it is for sale but someone may be interested in it.

I'd like to make a street tracker out of one, maybe even some kind of cafe racer, I think either one would be cool. Would I do it to my bike...............No Way!!!

Guess I should have mentioned it is either an XR750 or XR1000. Definitely not a 1200.
Has "2 front heads with left side exhaust", funny lookin' rockers and dual carbs... a genuine XR.
