Stainless Primary Bolts
One of the allen heads on one of my primary bolts is starting to round off a bit and I want to swap them all out for stainless. I have found a kit for replacing them with chromed bolts. Link belowe

Anyone know where you can get a similar kit but stainless. I went to my local hardware store but all of there allen head bolts that are stainless have different shoulder lengths than the HD ones.

I swear by McMaster-Carr.

The only thing I haven't found with them was a 3/4-16 titanium nut.

This is where I went when I replaced all on my '93 about five years ago.

The Moco shall use SS bolt but, for cost reason don't. Have you remarked the rust on your primary bolts. They rather pay to have the H-D logo on them ??? When they judge a bike during vintage contest , the use of other than Moco bolts will deduct lot of points.
The dealer love this situation by selling you expansive kit.

For all of those in the UK a great kit of stainless hex head bolts can be had from http://www.wvsfasteners.co.uk/Browse..._DAVIDSON_KITS. Excellent range and prices.

imo the gardner westcott bolt kit shown in OP is the best deal and they are grade 8 fasteners..just my .02

Well after doing some searching around on the interwebs I think I am going to just buy this cheap kit to get it done for the rest of riding season then order a nice one and do it again this winter. My wife is due with our first child any day now so money is pretty tight.
