When life throws a curve...lean into it and open the throttle.

This time I'm not going to encumber it with huge saddlebags. I'm going to fit one of the H-D swingarm bags:
 (clicky)
and see if I can make do with that.
I may fit one of the new down tube bags when they're available:

Congratulations Nigel! I really like the looks of the 72 also. First new bike that Harley has come out with recently that I'd really consider buying.

If it weren't for the long roads around here, that would be my choice. No place to put petro...
Congrats on the decision!

Sorry Beau... generalizations and all you know? I was pontificating more than making any reference to you specifically. My apologies!
I had a bro years back who owned two Super Glides (when they were THE factory custom) and I sometimes rode one. When I decided to start riding again it was the only other bike on my short list though not at the top... if one had come along at the right price though.
Anyway, I do understand the " itch." Did you trade it in? Wonder what the dealer is saying about that? Trading a "bike bike" for a mere Sportster.

The guy at the dealer rides a Sportster himself: a very nice little bobber with an even smaller tank than the Seventy-Two:

Really never considered you away at all. Just thought your Sporty had a weight problem.
I was thinking the same thing. Brass and some tan leather.
