Sons of Anarchy - Official Thread
All the hype is coming to a head tonight with FX's airing of their new series, Sons of Anarchy. I'm actually pretty excited for it, mainly because of the other shows FX has had in the past few years (The Shield and Rescue Me come to mind). My only concern is that it will propagate the negative sterotype that many non-riders have of the motorcycle culture in general. I guess time will only tell.
Otherwise, I am quite optimistic that FX will at least deliver a solid show that might feature some cool motorcycles. I was wondering what everyone else's take was...

I'm watching with low expectations. I like FX shows, but recent offerings have not been all that interesting to me. At least they'll show bikes... and the new season of The Shield has started.

I read an article on the show that says many of the cast use their own bikes in the show, the producers got motorcycle clubs to be involved in the film to help make it real, and it's written by the same guy who did the shield.

HBO is doing a show too? Wow, looks like we will have a PR nightmare at our doorstep (although, I do love pretty much everything HBO does - Deadwood, Rome, Entourage, Flight of the Conchords). |
