Keep the pics comin' guys. I like the 48's.
It actually doesnt hit the fender, only the fork tubes. I have it mounted avove the lower fork clamps. It is really close to the head light, but so far it doesnt seem to get hot. I will be getting a side solo bag soon for it also.

Hopefully in a few weeks I'll have the cash to buy the 48 triple trees and speedo mount. They'll be going on my 2004 xl1200c.
I reckon HD will want a mint for that setup, couldn't you just buy mid- or wideglide trees and an axle kit? Maybe there's somthing I'm missing, I've not really looked too hard at the 48 specs, but it seems to me you could have that look for less than HD would want to charge you for it...

the fork/tool bag is just a cheap leather bag from discount leather clothing. 12x5x5 #al3543
$20.99 plus $10.48shipping. Works pretty good.

It should be just under $750. without a new front wheel. If I go w/ other triple trees I have to come up w/ a different way to mount my speedo. I'm not committed to the Harley parts yet if I can find a better or cheaper way...
